Semi Bespoke
|
When selecting your semi bespoke suite, please take a moment to read the descriptions of each item to ensure these are right for you. Each semi bespoke suite is available for minor design changes such as wording and calligraphy style. Your wording must be submitted in order for you to receive your proofs, You will receive your proofs 6-10 business days from receiving your wording.
Your order includes two rounds of adjustments and one calligraphy re-write. Additional changes can be made at an extra charge. I advise you to request changes all at once or in groups to avoid the need for additional adjustment rounds. Please also keep in mind that extra revision rounds will push back the processing time, and delay your stationery for print. |
|
Bespoke
|
After the consultation regarding your invitation design, a minimum of 50% of the bespoke design fee is required to secure your place in our design calendar, and for work to begin on your invitation design.
You will then need to submit your wording documents 5-7 business days after your design fee has been received. We encourage you to take your time to check through your wording for all spelling and grammar before submitting. Once I have received this, the design process will begin. I'll then follow up with your carefully designed proofs in 10-12 business days from receiving your wording. Your order includes two rounds of adjustments and one calligraphy re-write (if applicable). Additional changes can be made at an extra charge. I advise you to request changes/amendments grouped together or all at once to avoid the need for additional adjustment rounds. Please also keep in mind that extra revision rounds will push back the processing time, and delay your stationery for print. |

Quantity
|
When considering the amount of invitations you will require, be sure to count per household rather than individuals. This will mean your invitation quantity will be lower than your headcount. Providing an accurate quantity helps the process run smoother and allows for a more accurate quote.
It is often common practice to order up to 20% extra for last minute changes, add-ons and of course keepsakes. Re-prints after your order has gone to print or has been printed are costly, so it is always worth ordering a few more invitations than your required amount. For invitations personalised with handwritten calligraphy names, you will need to order 25% extra for any mistakes or mishaps. |

Printing
|
Please be aware that printing costs can vary significantly. These costs are determined by paper, quantity, size, design and type of print method. Letterpress and foiling costs are also determined by the amount of inks or foils present in your design.
Any print estimations given before a design has been finalised, are guideline prices and are not indicative of any final print costs. Final print costs can only be determined once the design of your suite has been finalised and approved. All final print costs will be communicated before your designs are sent to print. Although I strive to represent colours within your design as accurately as possible, I cannot guarantee the final printed colour will look exactly as you view it on your screen. Monitor and screen colours can vary from computer to computer and I cannot guarantee that your monitor will display the colours exactly as they print. Requests for reprints based on colour will be assessed on a case by case basis, and charged accordingly. |

Timeline
|
Once your order has been placed and we have processed your design fee, I will await your wording. Once received, I will begin work on your invitation design. You will receive your semi bespoke or bespoke invitation proofs and have two rounds of adjustments (minor text changes only for semi bespoke) and one calligraphy re-write. Once you are happy with your proofs I will send you your final invoice (for bespoke orders only). Once this has been processed, I send your designs to print.
Production times may increase with more adjustment rounds, or with additional embellishment items, such as envelope addressing, ribbons, wax sealing and assembly. A final confirmation email will be sent to you once your order is ready to be dispatched. |

Design
|
Custom illustrations, maps, crests and bespoke calligraphy pieces are charged according to design time and size. All prices will be communicated for each bespoke piece and must be approved before any work can begin.
All calligraphy is handwritten and therefore may differ slightly between each name place and envelope address. While I will try my best to ensure the writing is the same, slight variations can occur, but should not affect the overall look of the calligraphy. By purchasing the envelope addressing service, you agree to the above and to trust the artist's style of calligraphy. Orders begin immediately after payment or design fee, and therefore Beautifully Lost Studio cannot provide refunds, exchanges or cancellations. |

Aproval
|
Once your order has been finalised and invoice has been processed, materials and embellishments will be purchased almost immediately. Therefore, making changes to your order after this may incur an additional fee. Unfortunately due to each order being unique, I am unable to offer a refund on embellishments or materials purchased for your order. If you have changes you would like to make to your order after the final confirmation, please communicate this as soon as possible, and I will try my best to accommodate your changes.
Clients must approve all artwork before inking and calligraphy for bespoke pieces. Or before designs can be sent to print for invitation suites. All clients must be responsible for proof checking their designs before they are approved for print. This includes but is not limited to spelling, grammar, size, layout and colour. In rare instances, Beautifully Lost Studio may need to adjust elements of the design or print in order to adhere to printer's recommendations. This will not affect the overall look or design of your products, and where possible Beautifully Lost Studio will communicate these adjustments if deemed necessary. |

Production times can increase with additional adjustment rounds. Add-ons such as embellishments (wax, ribbon, vellum wrap etc.) will also increase the production time of your items. The client agrees to allow finished products to be photographed by Beautifully Lost Studio for the purpose of (but not limited to), website, marketing materials, social media etc. The client waives the right to any payment, royalties or ownership of the images and their usage as outlined above. All images will remain the property of Beautifully Lost Studio.
